“All Praise be to God, the Lord of the Worlds” (1:2).
When a person is perfectly convinced of it, he has risen to holiness. He becomes a holy person. Every great thing we know of, ultimately, must be traced back to God Almighty, the only agent of actions. Whatever happens, He makes it to happen. Something that happens in the blink of an eye, He made it to happen. A thousand things that are happening at a given moment, all at the same time, He it is Who makes them, each of them, to happen. Therefore, for any great and wonderful thing, the praise is to God solely. Only then can we praise the instrument through which he made it happen, be it a great person, a great thing or any great object. The person who is fully and tremendously convinced that “all praise be to God”, solely, does not notice anything in any matter, except God. He is not aware of anything, except God Almighty. His relationship with God Almighty becomes strong. This is the meaning of holiness.
